Solar panel on Cat 22

Our family acquired a 1988 Catalina 22 and we already learned the basics. we had some troubles but nothing too serious, thankfully. But lately we're thinking of adding a small solar panel to charge the battery. We just need power for lights and maybe a small fan. Nothing big, just enough for short weekend trips.

Has anyone put solar on a Catalina 22 or a boat like it? I need tips on what size panel to get, where to put it, the works. Thanks so much!
