Nahh, i dont think you can use a hobie cat mainsail on a catalina capri 22 co they're completely different setups. If you're looking for something better, just get the proper sail for the Capri 22. Don't waste time trying to make a mismatched sail work or anyone else think otherwise?
A Hobie Cat mainsail won't fit a Capri 22,different luff length, shape, and hardware setup. Most stick with a standard Capri 22 main or go for a full-batten upgrade. What kind of sailing are you doing with it? Racing, cruising, or just daysailing?
It's best to get a sail specifically made for the Catalina, like the mainsail for the Catalina Capri 22, which is designed to fit the boat's rig and performance needs perfectly.
