you can deflate it & roll it in the centerline, make sure to secure with straps. or partially inflate it, like Upside down and tightly lashed

Absolutely, those are both great methods for storing it. I've actually tried the partial inflate and lash-down technique myself, and it worked pretty well. By the way, what kind of boat are you planning to tie it to?

For a 320, a 10' inflatable boat fits nicely on the foredeck. You can secure it with lashings or inflate it partially and tie it down. Just make sure it's easy to get to and doesn't block any movement.
